Welcome to the 10th edition of The Corporate Awards (TCA)!
Conceived in the UK and birthed in Africa in 2016, TCA has since accorded great value to corporate management and articulated leadership, in particular for the preparation of people who are equipped for textured, dynamic, imaginative, creative leadership… and leadership for all levels of social existence now challenging our globalised world.
This year, under the theme "Sustainability In Uncertain Times", TCA comes full circle by returning to the UK, to mark a decade of celebrating such corporate achievements in people management, as well as ESG, DEI, and CSR ventures.
To further commemorate this milestone, our multilateral Awards forum will also include a half-day conference on “Women in Leadership” that focuses on the extensive benefits of sustainable practices in achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls with the vision to reach for their highest potentials. Participants will thus be enthused to explore the best ways to integrate the practices they espouse into corporate policies, while highlighting the positive impact on their employees, communities, and businesses, with the awareness that sustainability actions are not just trends, they are crucial for long-term success.
In administering the selection for Awards, our research process includes a comprehensive questionnaire, interviews, and policy reviews to identify and showcase these success stories. Internal excellence often goes unrecognised outside the organisation, and that is why TCA has created a platform to promote a culture of learning, innovation, and progress amongst corporate peers.
Notably, during its decade of a journey celebrating corporate excellence, TCA Board has successfully implemented this Pan-African initiative across various countries. Beginning in the Cameroon, we have also celebrated success stories in Gabon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and South Africa. Now as we expand to London, the aim is to share our Circum-Atlantic experiences, while acknowledging the transnational interconnectedness and cultural exchanges of people, ideas and good governance standards that continue to flow across the Atlantic, creating a shared corporate cultural space integrating Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
To date, over 170 companies have been honoured for their excellence in people management, sustainability, and community-building efforts. Therefore, TCA 2025 will aim to cross the boundaries that have been traditional hurdles, and engage with the UK as fully fledged participants in a dialogue on the sustainable future of the corporate sector.
The 10th edition of TCA will take place on September 26, 2025, in London. And with progressive human capital management and holistic human relations being the cornerstones of business development, and yet so often overlooked, the ceremonial soirée will highlight companies that prioritise employee wellbeing and recognise their contributions, with a view to creating a platform that involves a symbiotic interaction between the people and cultures in UK corporations, and those of Africa and its Caribbean Diaspora, with their underlying aspiration for higher international standards of business excellence.
